Maybe girls....JUST maybe Rob is single...and AVAILABLE...

Well...I don't have a lot of time again....my boy is really sick, he is sleeping and it gave me a few minutes to check up on my latest Rob gossip.

So several gossip sites are talking about the latest articles in Star Magazine and Life & Style...

While I know most of what we read isn't true...the more you hear about something the more likely it is to be based in fact. Could they be...TOGETHER???? Hmmm...perhaps...I imagine Summit Entertainment would want it kept a secret for obvious reasons.

Well...if so...I hope she treats him well and makes him happy...wouldn't it be nice to see him genuinely happy....

Hmmm...Rob has it kind of rough...

Well, I have been reading a lot of articles lately that really have me thinking about Rob and the price of fame. Although many of us dream of being rich and famous and beautiful, I imagine it is not all roses and glory. Imagine losing any amount of privacy, having half truths and lies spread all around the world about you...and imagine this if you are awkward and shy...and maybe just a little people phobic. How would you feel?

I know...I know...I have said and do still feel that if you can't stand the heat...get out of the kitchen, actors want fame and glory...right? But maybe...just maybe...some actors act because it is who they are...it is in their soul...like musicians play because they HAVE to....it s a part of them. Maybe they want to share their gifts with the world...but struggle with the other side of fame.

I have a little boy...he is talented...and smart...and funny...and wonderful...but he panics when he is the center of attention. He has a hard time dealing with frustration...with embarrassment...he gets upset when someone pays him a compliment...he thinks he is always wrong...and never does anything right...he has a genuine disorder...(which I will not discuss)...and I pray every day that we can work past these issues because he has so much to offer the world...no matter what he chooses to do in life.

A lot of the stories about Rob remind me of him.

And now...the guilt sets in...because I am a Rob fan...obviously....I think he is gorgeous...and talented...is my blog wrong? I mean it is really just here for my friends. Would I be one of those crazy fans that screams and faints at the sight of him? Would I beg for a picture or his autograph?

I like to think I would be calm and cool...tell him...hey...I think you are great...and move on

(o.k., so maybe I would sneak a pic with my cell...but I wouldn't let him know I was taking it...and I would make sure it was very flattering)...no screaming of freaking out...I mean I am a little old for that.

The truth is...I imagine I would be star struck...but I hope I would remember...he is just a person...and treat him as such.

Robert just wants to be treated like a normal person...

I read this article in the Vancouver Sun...I think it says a lot about Rob and how he is feeling about all of his fame. Although...she did use her meeting with him to boost her own popularity...hmmm...perhaps not purposefully...

It's funny what a chance encounter with the world's hottest vampire will do for your career.
Adaline, one of Canada's up n' coming indie-pop stars, ran into Twilight's Robert Pattinson — a.k.a. bloodsucker Edward Cullen — at a club in Vancouver.
She wrote about the experience on Twitter and MySpace, which was then posted to several Pattinson fan sites. In less than 24 hours, flocks of Twilight fans were checking out her MySpace page. How cool is that?
As a token of her appreciation, Adaline is now offering a free download of her single, Whiter/Straighter, from her delicious debut, Famous For Fire.
"Who would have ever thought that one small Twitter post would result in over 20,000 plays of my music and hundreds and hundreds of personal messages of encouragement!" she writes on her blog.
"What is most touching is that many of you have said that even though you came across my website because of my chance meeting with Robert, that many of you are staying because of my music. This is why I make music — so I can share it with you. So thank you for the kind words — for telling me which songs are speaking to you — for passing on my website to your friends and family. I am so grateful."
Here's an excerpt from the entry that started it all: " . . . I was at a Juno Afterparty at Richards on Richards (in Vancouver) . I'm hanging out upstairs and I look over . . . it's Robert Pattinson. I couldn't believe it! I spent the next few minutes trying to figure out how to say hi and what I could say that wouldn't sound crazy.
"I walked over and he was saying to another girl, 'I can't do that. I can't do that,' so I pulled up beside him and said, 'What can't you do Robert' and he said, 'I can't take pictures tonight.'
So I leaned over and said, 'I don't need a picture of you. You're just a normal person trying to have a good time. I'm just happy to have this moment with you. Sometimes people want a piece of you, more specifically, a piece of Edward. I'm happy to be meeting you. At the end of the day, you're just like me.'
"At that point, he pulled me into an warm embrace and said in my ear, 'You are the first person to say that to me all day, thank you. Honestly, thank you.' I said, 'You're welcome. We're the same.'
"I told him about how I was a performer, so you never know, maybe he'll be at a show someday! In the end it was lovely to meet the man who so well depicted the character so many people love. I can tell you two things: 1) Even though Robert is not Edward, he has the same intense stare in real life. It took me off guard. 2) He smells lovely. The stinky thing is a bunch of tabloid garbage."

Robert Pattinson's GQ Article

I was in the line at the grocery store and I spotted the April issue of GQ with Rob on the cover. My goodness...he is a beautiful man.

I broke down and bought the magazine...I wanted to read the article...

I smuggled it into the house so my hubby would not see it and make fun of me....

Wow...

I find myself alternating between feeling bad for Rob and admiring him. He is refreshingly honest...he is quirky and awkward...shy and I think lonely.

All of this attention kind of freaks him out....

I don't think he realizes how talented he is.

I mean YES...he is pretty...and YES...women all over the world love him because he is Edward...

BUT...I think he is a good actor....really good....and I think he is an amazing musician...and well...he is an all around interesting guy. The funny thing is...he doesn't realize any of this...

he thinks he is a big fraud...

If only he could see his own value...I bet he would be a lot happier...and maybe find that elusive true love.

I for one am rooting for you Rob...I wish you all the success and happiness in the world...

Well...I am sure all of you Rob fans have been reading in magazines and in the blogosphere about Rob's secret relationship with Nikki Reed. Supposedly they have been spotted together around Vancouver on dates and left a party one night wrapped in each other arms and ended up at Rob's hotel. Nikki didn't leave until the next morning which caused her to miss her flight back to LA. Hmmm...it all seems so strange...because lets face it....the chemistry between Rob and Kristen is soooo strong and so obvious...they went from being in each others hip pockets to not being seen together at all. Now all of a sudden he is hooked up with her BFF????

It all seems too convenient if you asked me.

According to E online's Ted Casablanca...Kristens boyfriend Michael Arangano is not really so cool about all the rumors regarding his beloved Kstew and our beloved Rpatz. He is really jealous and is trying to spend as much time in Vancouver as he can. This is when Rob and Kristen are suddenly not seen anywhere together and Rob is showing up all over town with Nikki.....hmmmm....

Also, if any of you are following Kristen on Twitter...she removed Rob from her list of people she is following...very odd.

Well, perhaps Rob and Kristen are TRYING to take the focus off of their relationship in order to keep it a secret...and Nikki is just in on the plot.

Ahhh the twisted and tangled web of Twilight...and we still have to get through Eclipse and Breaking Dawn....

Twilight star Robert Pattinson admits his luck with girls hasn't been too good. The British actor, in Vancouver filming the Twilight sequel New Moon, admitted to Glamour magazine: "I had really bad luck with girls when I was younger, the ones I liked hated me and the ones that liked me were not my type. But that’s something that I still go through. I like girls that I shouldn’t like. But I’m learning, and now I take my time before I let the girl know."
Pattinson says he hasn't got much time for romance these days because of the Vancouver shooting schedule, but accepts the scrutiny he's under because of his Twilight fame. "I knew what I was getting myself into."

(ANI): Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson was left red-faced on the first day of filming for his forthcoming flick Twilight, after he suffered a muscle pull in his buttocks. Rob was required to lift heroine Kirsten Stewart in one of the scenes, when he pulled a muscle in his rear end.He had to pull out from the shoot after he damaged ligaments in his rear end, and was forced to undergo a butt-rub. "I got injured on the first shot of my first day on Twilight. I lifted Kristen and ripped my a**e cheek. I had to get a bum massage for the cheek,” Contactmusic quoted Rob as telling Cosmopolitan magazine.

Fighting on the set of Twilight

So...I am standing in the line at the grocery store and glancing at all the tabloids and I see Life & Style Magazine. The front cover has a picture of Rob and it claims there is fighting on the New Moon set because Rob is feeling threatened by Taylor Lautner and all the new Wolf Pack boys. That his diminished role in New Moon is hitting him hard and his friends are afraid his Twilight stardom is short lived.
What a bunch of garbage. Look...as any TRUE TWILIGHTER knows...and by TRUE I mean those who have read the books and not the ones who have just seen the movie (because let's face it...you lose a lot in the movie...I am not hating on it, but there is SO MUCH MORE in the book...in all the books) Edward is Bella's ONE TRUE LOVE....so yeah...in New Moon Jacob has a much bigger role, but that is just part of the story...because in the end Bella chooses Edward...in her words "It has always been him." Then there is Eclipse and Breaking Dawn where Edward is again the MAIN love interest and, so that is going to put Rob right back on top. I am having a hard time believing what the tabloids say, but even if he did feel a little left out...he is only human. There is NO REASON for him to feel threatened so I really don't believe it....and the truth is...I think Rob is a GREAT actor, I can't wait to see Little Ashes ...I am looking forward to his portrayal of the eccentric Dali (one of my faves). Twilight is not the end all for Rob...no way...
Also...I really don't think Rob is all that comfortable in his new role has heartthrob extraordinaire. I think he likes to just be him...this has been hard on him. I can't see him being jealous...I imagine right now he is relieved. It makes me sad to see him attacked the way he is. Cut the guy a break people...he is young...and this is all new to him. It ain't easy bein' beautiful....

Fans are in an uproar over Rob's Threats to delete his Myspace

Well...there are thousands of teenage girls crying all over the world tonight...because according to the illustrious Mr. Pattinson's Twitter page, he is deleting his Myspace account. Actually, as of now his Twitter claims that he deleted it already; although the link still works and as far as I can tell the page is still available. I was just checking out the page and there are the typical pleas by fans that he keep the account open. I was discussing this with a friend of mine (JJ). We were trying to think of reasons why he would feel the need to do this. Let's first take into account that #1 it may NOT be the real Rob. It is most likely run by some PR person somewhere. If this is the case I imagine it is just for additional publicity and to keep the fans wanting more. Well, if this is the real Rob I also imagine he is being bombarded with messages from fans and it is just getting tiring. I have a Myspace account and every time I get a message, I get an email. I imagine he gets A LOT of emails.
We also need to examine the phenomenon of Twitter and Myspace and similar sites and the access that every day people have to famous people. Many famous actors, sports personalities and even politicians are Twittering and have Myspace and Facebook pages. I think it is a way for these people to connect to their fans, followers, believers or what have you. For the fans and followers...it is a way for them to get a glimpse at the fairytale. They feel closer to these people because it shows that they are really not so different. I actually find it refreshing that a lot of these "famous people" want to be connected to their fans, because let's be honest here...the fans are the reason they are where they are. A little appreciation is nice.
I actually think that it is kind of wrong for Rob to do that to his fans that really support him.
